ONGOING WORKSHOPS AND CLASSES

***   Fridays, Workshops with Chas & Gaia at 6:30pm and 7:30pm followed by a Milonga (social tango dance party) from 8:30pm until midnight on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Friday of each month. We will go later if enough patrons need more tango.

6:30, Technique: ALL LEVELS,  Every Friday at 6:30 we will pick a simple element of the tango to illustrate the necessary underlying technique and how to better utilize the basics to achieve greater enjoyment in tango. These are extremely valuable sessions. Please don’t be among those who assume they “have had that” and can’t benefit from this material. This is the material that the top tango dances in the world focus on to improve.

7:30, Vocabulary: For everyone except brand new dancers. If the material in this session is challenging you too much it is probably because you have not been to our Technique sessions. You will be able to join us for these session but you might have to stay with your partner and not join in the rotation. It doesn’t help to struggle too much so we will also give you different material to work on.

Our “Uno, Dos, Tres: Tango!” are held on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Friday of each month from 8:30 until 12 midnight. These informal tango dance parties are designed to give you a chance to let your hair down and groove with a Bohemian style.

“Milongas Elegante” 8:30pm – 1am, $15.00
Milongas Elegante (tango dance party) are held the 4th Saturday of every month. These are our most special tango events where we pull out all the stops and create the most elegant experience available for tango dancers in this or any other area. Please check this page for milonga dates and join Rocky Mountain Tango list to receive notices about upcoming milongas.

We work very hard before every milonga to create an assortment of hors d'oeuvres that are delicious, healthy and plentiful. A wide assortment of non-alcoholic beverages are provided as well. All food and drink are provided at no additional charge. Drawings for truly desirable door prizes will occur at every TTH milonga. Coat racks and a large shoe cubby are provided for your convenience. Please wear only dance shoes at The Tango House to preserve the beautiful wood floor.
